Friday is expected to bring more rain and a risk of thunderstorms to the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario.
Environment Canada says the morning will be mainly cloudy in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and Niagara Falls.
There’s a 30 per cent chance of showers followed by a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon. The high will be around 27 C in Mississauga but could feel more like 34 C due to the humidity.
Friday night will be partly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms across the GTA. The low will be around 19 C in Toronto and 17 C in Mississauga.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday is expected to be sunny with a high of 27 C and a low of 18, while Sunday is expected to bring similar conditions with sunny skies and a high of 28 C.
