The Living Arts Centre hosts Mississauga's Recreation Open House this Saturday.

The Living Arts Centre (LAC) in Mississauga’s downtown core is the place to be tomorrow (Oct. 1) for those interested in part-time work with the City’s recreation department.

The City of Mississauga hosts its Recreation Open House on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the LAC.

Part-time job opportunities are available in areas of food services, events, customer service, aquatics, community programs, operations and administration.

“You will have an opportunity to speak with staff to learn more about our part-time positions in aquatics, community programs, operations, administrations, events and customer service,” City officials say.

Those who attend are asked to bring a hard copy of their resume and a USB with an electronic version for any potential interviews.

“The City of Mississauga communicates with applicants through email, so make sure you use an email that you check regularly,” officials suggest.

The LAC is located at 4141 Living Arts Dr.
