Jewelry, drugs, guns and cash worth more than $150,000 seized in Mississauga

A Mississauga man has been charged with nearly a dozen criminal offences after police claim they found more than $150,000 in his home during a raid.

Shortly after 6 p.m. on October 13, Peel Regional Police raided a home near Burnhamthorpe Rd. and Hurontario St, a very busy intersection in the centre of the city.

During the raid, officers with the Specialized Enforcement Bureau (SEB) say they found;

  • a Glock 27 pistol loaded with seven rounds
  • 286 grams of Methamphetamine worth $20,020
  • 221 grams of Fentanyl worth $44,200
  • 83 grams of Cocaine worth $8,300
  • $10,000 in Canadian cash, and
  • $75,000 worth of jewelry

As a result, Juron Davis faces a battery of criminal charges including;

  • unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
  • knowledge of unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • careless storage of a firearm
  • possession of a firearm with an altered serial number
  • possession of property obtained by crime
  • possession of a firearm contrary to order, and
  • three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking
