Jewellery heist has police on the hunt for suspects in Caledon

Police are looking for a trio of suspected jewel thieves after police say they made off with cash and jewels during a heist in Caledon earlier this month.

The Caledon OPP says officers were called to a business in Bolton around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18. Police say three people came to the store and stole an undisclosed amount of jewellery and cash in what investigators are calling a “distraction-type theft.”

The OPP has released surveillance footage of the suspects and is asking the public for help identifying them.

The first suspect is described as a middle-aged South Asian male. He was wearing blue jeans, black running shoes, a black jacket and ball cap, glasses, and a purple surgical mask.

The second suspect is described as a middle-aged South Asian female. She was wearing black traditional attire with a pink scarf at the time of the incident.

And the third suspect is described as a South Asian male in his 20s wearing a grey tracksuit, black shoes, a black jacket, a winter hat, and a surgical mask.
