American sandwich chain Jersey Mike’s is coming to Mississauga.
It will be located at Heartland Town Centre and will likely open sometime later this year.
The news comes as the chain opened its first downtown Toronto location at Union Station on Wednesday.
Over the next 10 years, Jersey Mike’s plans to open 300 locations in Canada, a news release from Redberry Restaurants said.
There are already other Jersey Mike’s shops in Ontario, including in North York, Markham, Brantford, Guelph, Kitchener and London.
The story of Jersey Mike’s started back in 1956 with a sandwich shop in Point Pleasant, New Jersey called Mike’s Subs.
Decades later, Jersey Mike’s has become an iconic brand with thousands of locations.
