Jaws of life used to rescue Milton driver trapped in car

A man had to be rescued with the jaws of life after the vehicle he was driving left the road and crashed into a ditch in Milton on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 6).

Reports indicate a car was traveling south on Tremaine Rd. just after 3:30 pm. when, for unknown reasons, it left the road and ended up in the ditch near Pringle Ave.

The driver was trapped in the vehicle for several minutes and had to be extricated by Milton emergency crews.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and is now listed in stable condition.
