Putting on The Temptations may be the only way for folks in the GTA to get sunshine on this cloudy day.

Temperatures are expected to stay low through the morning until about 9 a.m, according to Environment Canada’s sensors in Mississauga’s Pearson Airport. During that time they’ll rise from -3 until they break 0 degrees.

Things will brighten up a bit around 8 a.m, but will be far from the month of May as the skies remain partly cloudy. Tempertures will remain cool but will rise  to about 5 degrees by 5 p.m. By that time, cloud coverage will have thickened.

After that peak, temperatures will fall again to 1 degree by 9 p.m. Throughout that time heavy cloud coverage will persist.

Winds will blow between 15 and 20 km/h throughout the day but may gust up to 40 km/h.
