It looks like mother nature has skipped spring (for the time being) and went straight into summer, as temperatures are expected reach above 25 C — but will feel like 29 C this week in Mississauga, Brampton and other areas.

Last week residents saw plenty of cloudy weather with scattered showers, sunny breaks and temperatures sitting in the lower 20’s.

This week Meteorologists are anticipating sunshine nearly every day — and it might be a good idea to have your sunglasses and sunscreen on standby.

As of today (Apr. 9) the weekend will wrap up with  clear skies and sun throughout the day as well as a high of 10 C. This will be the coolest day of the week, before it gets much warmer.

According to Environment Canada, Monday morning will begin sunny which will transition to a mix of sun and clouds in the afternoon. Although temperatures will sit at 18 C wind speeds could pick up to 30 km/h.

It looks like a mostly warm but cloudy Tuesday with temperatures hitting  20 C and a 30 percent chance of rain.

As Wednesday approaches, there will be a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day with a high of 25 C before dropping to a low of 13 C in the evening.

The Weather Network predicts that Thursday will be the hottest out of the week soaring to 26 C but will feel more like 29 C.

Residents may want to enjoy the pleasant weather by spending time outdoors as there will be 12 hours of sun on Thursday—which is more than any other day this week.

The good news is the sun will stick around on Friday and skies will be crystal clear. A high of 24 C is also expected.

With the weekend around the cornor temperatures will fall a couple degrees and remain at 20 C for most of  Saturday. The day will be cloudy with peaks of sunshine.

Weather this good could mean it’s time to retire the winter clothes and bring out the summer gear!
