It now costs more to park at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington

The parking rates at Burlington’s Joseph Brant Hospital (JBH) have jumped.

As of June 1, the rates increased due to rising costs associated with managing and maintaining the parking areas, according to information supplied by the hospital.

JBH’s parking garage and lots are self-supported and maintained by the revenue generated from parking fees. Any additional remaining revenues are used to support patient care.

New Rates

  • 30 minutes or less (maximum 2.5 hours) – $4
  • Day rate (2.5 hours to midnight) – $19
  • Day pass (in-and-out privileges, maximum 24 hours)  – $19
  • Lost ticket – $19
  • Monthly pass (must be used on consecutive days, and is not transferable) – $55.55
  • HPASS 5 Day – $47.50
  • HPASS 10 Day – $95
  • HPASS 30 Day – $285

An HPSS is valid for use in all gated parking lots (excluding the pay & display lot); is transferable among patients, their visitors and vehicles; equipped with in-and-out privileges within a 24-hour period; valid for consecutive or non-consecutive days; good for one year from the date of purchase.

Payment Options

  • Pay & display parking permits (tickets) must be purchased on arrival. Permit machines are located within the lot.
  • Daily permits can be purchased at one of three pay stations located at hospital entrances and in the Joyce Family Atrium (lobby).
  • Day passes and multi-day passes can be purchased at any of the pay stations or the parking kiosk ocated just outside the Ambulatory Care entrance along Northshore Road.
