Isolated incident prompts heavy police presence in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police are asking commuters to expect a heavy police presence close to St. Clare Catholic School in Mississauga this evening (Sept. 15).
Authorities said in a tweet at 6:46 p.m., that they are currently dealing with a situation isolated to the residence at the 2700 block of Folkway Dr.
Currently, there is no threat to the public, according to the police.
However, residents and commuters are asked to avoid the area at this time.
Peel Police have not provided any information on the operation and the circumstances leading to it.
