Investigations continue for shooting in Hamilton

Hamilton police are investigating a shooting that happened in Hamilton’s downtown, on Saturday night and are asking residents and businesses for their help.

On Saturday (July 22) at approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the area of King St. W. / Caroline St. N., north of Queen St. S.

Police confirm a shooting took place, and it is unknown at this time if anyone suffered injuries.

Investigators are asking residents and businesses in the area to review their security surveillance cameras between 11:00 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. for any suspicious activity.

Detectives are also asking anyone driving in the area at that time with dash camera footage to contact investigators.
