UPDATED: Investigation Prompts High Police Presence in Residential Area

Police are currently on scene for an ongoing investigation.

Police reported around 7:23 p.m. that there is an investigation happening in the area of Brandon Gate Drive and Roselle Crescent.

K9 and tactical units are currently on scene alongside police.

Residents are asked to avoid the area.

Police say there were reports of a male with a weapon in the area. His identity is known by police.

Though the scene is clear, police are still following up on the investigation.
