Intimate partner violence investigation leads to charges for a Mississauga resident

A Mississauga resident faces charges in connection to an intimate partner violence investigation.

Officers responded to a complaint in Centre Wellington (north of Guelph) on March 20, OPP said in a press release.

Police said they entered into an intimate partner violence investigation.

A 34-year-old Mississauga resident is charged with Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm contrary to the Criminal Code.

Police didn’t name the resident.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph at a later date.
