International bubble tea brand opens new location in Oakville

Tea lovers have a brand new spot to get their fix with Gotcha Fresh Bubble Tea, which recently opened their new location at Upper Oakville Shopping Centre.

The international bubble tea brand, which focuses on authentic ingredients and customizable drinks, celebrated its grand opening in August at 1011 Upper Middle Rd East.

The menu features a vast selection of fresh tea that’s brewed to order with multiple topping options.

Popular choices include their luxury bubble tea, signature milk tea, taro milk tea, brown sugar crème brûlée milk tea, and fruit teas such as their kiwi and passion fruit tea, made with real fruit.

Their other offerings include freshly made waffles topped with fruit, whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle.

Gotcha Fresh Bubble Tea is perhaps best known for the fact that they farm their own tea from one tea estate in Mount Ali, Taiwan.

Those who visit the Alishan Tea Plantations will pass through lush bamboo forests and inhale the fresh aroma floating from the plantations located on the roadside.

Grown in the lofty heights of between 1,000 and 2,000 meters, the tea is famous for its outstanding aroma and flavour – and as Alishan tends to be wet and cold all year round, it happens to provide the perfect conditions for tea production. The fluctuations in temperature between day and night result in the tea trees growing at a slow rate, accumulating more flavour as a result.

Farming and importing their own tea is how Gotcha maintains a high level of quality in all of their tea products, perfect for the discerning tea lover. Residents are invited to come taste the difference for themselves.
