Interesting Event (With Refreshments!) Coming to Square One in Mississauga
You might think that malls are meant for shopping (and eating), and while that’s certainly true, they also tend to host different activities from time to time.
Fortunately for creative types into higher-end goods, an event that will allow shoppers to customize their very own Coach bags is coming.
Square One recently took to Twitter to announce that a Coach Create event will take place at the shopping centre’s Coach store on Saturday, Feb. 23.
Join us on Saturday at Coach for the Coach Create event. Learn how you can customize your very own pieces and enjoy refreshments. There is also a special gift with purchase when you spend $300 or more. pic.twitter.com/qH4tRBsJk9— SQUARE ONE (@shopSQUAREONE) February 21, 2019
At the event, fashionistas who love handbags can learn how to customize their own pieces while also—and this is important—enjoying refreshments.
As for how Coach Create works, this V Magazine article says the relatively new initiative allows shoppers to “personalize, embellish and monogram bags as well as small leather goods one can instantly dream up.”
While the article mentions that fans of the brand can customize bags online, it touts the benefits of the in-store experience, saying customers can watch their creations come to life at a customization bar.
As for what can be customized, shoppers can pick their own material, colour and category (purse, backpack, scarf, etc) and design a piece that’s unique to them .
As for Saturday’s event, Square One also says there’s also a special gift with purchase when a shopper spends $300 or more (which isn’t difficult to do if one has money burning a hole in their pocket in Coach).
The event will run from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
