Interactive World of Barbie tour comes to Square One in Mississauga

The World of Barbie, an interactive exhibit that will allow fans of the iconic doll to literally step inside her dreamhouse and explore her camper van is coming to Mississauga’s Square One.
While dates have not been set, the Mississauga event is expected to take place this summer and is the first on a North American wide tour that will also land in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
According to Mark Manuel of Kilburn, the agency presenting the show on behalf of toymaker Mattel, the World of Barbie is meant to bring the character and her world to life.
“Barbie is as relevant today as she was when she was first introduced to the world 63 years ago,” Manuel said.
Along with the dreamhouse and camper van visitors will also be able to explore her fashion and TV studios and the Barbie Space Center.
A Barbie-themed café will also be available as well as a display that celebrates the history of the brand and its many themes and characters.
