POLL: 69% of Mississauga respondents don’t want a federal election

Justin Trudeau appears set on taking Canadians into a federal election, but Mississauga readers of insauga.com say they are not ready to stuff the ballot box.
A new poll conducted by insauga.com on Instagram Stories shows a wide margin of people are against the idea of having a national election at this time.
The question asked was: “Would you like to see a federal election called for September 20?”
The question follows rumours that the Prime Minister plans to call an election this Sunday.
The poll, which has run for 24 hours, shows that 61 per cent of those who responded reject the idea of an election next month. Thirty-nine per cent said “yes” to an election.
In total, 1,759 people responded to the poll.
