Brampton’s inflatable waterpark is back for another year but has been temporarily closed due to poor water quality in Professor’s Lake.
Testing on Wednesday by the Region of Peel again found the water in Professor’s Lake was “unfit for swimming,” with signage at the park warning people away.
The park’s lake and water areas have been closed, along with the waterslide and the Wibit inflatable waterpark.
A red warning sign at the beach means that levels of bacteria in the water are high enough to pose a risk to your health, the region says.
“This is a warning that swimming in the water may cause illness. The beach’s status is ‘Advisory,'” the region says.

The boathouse and beach areas are still open to the public. Testing is done daily until bacteria return to safe levels.
Back for another year, the Wibit inflatable waterpark first opened in Brampton in 2023 and features water slides, an obstacle course, climbing wall and plenty of activities for kids, parents, and guests ages six and older to enjoy.
