Impaired driver arrested in Whitby police station parking lot

Police in Whitby arrested a man for impaired driving after finding him driving in circles in the police station parking lot.

An officer noticed the red Chevrolet in the parking lot around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning. The officer walked up to the vehicle to speak with the driver.

According to police, the driver refused to stop and continued to circle parked police cruisers while flashing his headlights.

Two cruisers boxed in the Chevy and the driver was arrested.
