Immersive 3D Vincent Van Gogh experience coming to Hamilton

Hamilton residents and visitors alike can immerse themselves in the world of Van Gogh.
Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience is coming to the Hamilton Convention Centre by Carmen’s for a limited engagement.
The immersive experience features more than 300 of Vincent Van Gogh’s iconic artworks and takes the art lover into a three-dimensional world.
“Beyond Van Gogh is a new truly immersive experience,” reads the show’s website. “While other shows use virtual reality or still images, our show breaks barriers by incorporating both still and moving art.”
“Masterpieces, now freed from frames, come alive, appear, and disappear, flow across multi-surfaces, the minutia of details titillating our heightened senses,” the website continues. “The show is projected on every surface around you, this makes you feel as though you have stepped directly into a Van Gogh painting. We accompany the show with a beautiful score and include many other surprises!”
Presented by the Paquin Entertainment Group, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience was created by French-Canadian Creative Director Mathieu St-Arnaud and his team at Montreal’s world-renowned Normal Studio.
