Ice smashes through vehicle’s windshield on highway in Grimsby

A vehicle accident in Grimsby today (Feb. 20) fortunately resulted in no one being harmed, although the vehicle in question sustained major damage.
Niagara OPP officers are on scene at the QEW near Casablanca Blvd after ice flew off a commercial motor vehicle, smashing the windshield of another vehicle.
Police reported the incident at 2:42 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
“Thankfully no one was hurt. Please ensure to clear your vehicle of ice/snow before heading out,” police reminded the public.
