‘I never cry’: Hamilton mom brought to tears with big scratch ticket win

A Hamilton mom has plans to share her newfound wealth with her children after winning big on a scratch ticket.
According to the OLG, Stoney Creek’s Najlaa Sulaiman won $77,777 on the Instant 777 game recently.
“I played my ticket after work and scanned it using the OLG App,” Sulaiman said when she attended the Toronto OLG Prize Centre to pick up her winnings.
“When I realized I was a winner I started crying – I never cry.”
The 50-year-old said her win comes at a perfect time and she plans to share some of her prize with her children and has earmarked some for home renos.
The winning ticket was purchased at a Petro Canada on Queenston Road.
