UPDATE: Outage resolved after hundreds lose power in east Mississauga

An outage has been resolved after hundreds of people lost power in east Mississauga on Tuesday.
Alectra Utilities said at 12:25 p.m. that an outage was affecting approximately 460 homes and businesses in the Tomken Road and Eglinton Avenue East area, stretching over to Dixie Road and Bloor Street.
Alectra’s website said at the time that the cause of the outage was under investigation.
A crew was dispatched to resolve the issue and it was initially estimated that power would be restored sometime between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
But at 1:20 p.m., Alectra said all power had been restored in Mississauga.
