One of Brampton’s biggest outdoors events is back this week.

Party in the Lanes, the annual street party that brings food, music and entertainment to the city’s downtown core, will be happening on Friday evening, July 14.

As usual, the party takes place across multiple areas downtown — this year, visitors can expect a kids zone with Lego building at Vivian Lane, food trucks and live music at McArter Lane, and a salsa dance party at Daily Times Square!

Here’s what’s happening and where:

Vivian Lane – Kids Zone (5 to 9 p.m.)

  • Creative Club Fun Zone: 6-8 tables of Lego building with 15,000 Lego bricks, a giant Everblocks chair and house for kids to explore and take photos in, and more
  • Region of Peel Outreach Team
  • Mi Churros Patisserie
  • Downtown Brampton BIA Welcome Booth with Bubble Play

McArter Lane – Vibez in da Lane (6 to 10 p.m.)

  • Wide variety of food trucks: Pharoah’s Kitchen, Pizzaninni Express, Tito Jumbo’s, Tropical South, Jerk Xpress, Anjanaa’s Indian Spice, Fusion and Soul Chicken & Waffles, Delhi Momos, Tadka King
  • Live Caribbean music featuring a blend of soca, dancehall, calypso, and more
  • DJs Khal–El, Crystal, Brandon6ixx, Spinnaz, Tasha Rozez, and Director

Daily Times Square – Salsa Dance Party (7 to 10 p.m.)
