Huge pile of lobsters dumped on the side of an Ontario highway

Someone dumped a large pile of lobsters on an Ontario highway this week.
OPP said they received calls about the lobsters on the shoulder of Highway 17 in Bonfield, near North Bay, on July 2.
There was no indication of who dumped the crustaceans or why, but the smelly seafood is cause for concern, police indicated.
“This will cause additional safety hazards when it attracts wildlife (various) to come out of the forest and make their way onto the travelled roadways,” OPP said.
It is illegal to litter or dump waste on the highway, police said.
And as lobster can sell for about $15 a pound, the incident is curious.
The OPP hope to catch the person or people who dumped the lobster.
Anyone with information should call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
