Huge indoor entertainment destination coming to shopping mall in southern Ontario

A huge indoor entertainment destination is coming soon to a shopping mall in southern Ontario, offering dining and fun activities for the whole family.

Forever Young will be opening inside Oakville Place, located at 240 Leighland Ave., introducing a multi-purpose venue featuring arcade games, virtual reality experiences, karaoke rooms, party spaces and a family-focused indoor playground.

According to a news release on nationsfreshfoods.ca, the space is designed as an all-in-one environment where visitors can eat, play and celebrate, with food options including a full food court, dessert offerings and specialty drinks.

The idea builds on a pilot launched eight years ago at Stockyards Village in Toronto, which featured a smaller children’s entertainment zone called “Happy Kingdom,” before expanding into a full-scale all-ages destination known as “Forever Young” at Centrepoint Mall in North York.

At Oakville Place, the entertainment venue will be integrated into a larger development aimed at transforming the mall into a community-focused spot for both shopping and leisure.

In addition to the entertainment component, a massive supermarket will also be part of the development.

Nations Experience will anchor the space with a full-service grocery store spanning more than 60,000 square feet, offering fresh produce, meats, seafood, baked goods and everyday essentials.

The RioCan-owned mall, which opened in 1981, has seen the departure of long-time anchor tenants such as Hudson’s Bay and Sears in recent years.

The combined development will total more than 120,000 square feet, will take over the former two-level Hudson’s Bay space, and is anticipated to open in fall 2026.

Nations Fresh Foods has several locations across Ontario, including Vaughan, Mississauga and Brampton.
