Huge career fair welcomes job seekers in Mississauga

Those in search of a new career or advancing in their current line of work have an opportunity to find what they’re looking for at a huge career fair planned for early February in Mississauga.

The Mississauga Career Fair and Training Expo Canada takes place on Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mississauga Convention Centre (75 Derry Rd. W.).

It’s hosted by Career Fair Canada and those interested in attending must register in advance.

Organizers say the career fair/expo can be helpful to those in search of the job or career they’ve been looking for by linking them with companies that are hiring and with training opportunities as well.

“Learn about exciting new career options like skilled jobs, health-care jobs, technical jobs, etc. and obtain valuable information about the training and development programs you need to get your ideal job in 2024 with College Recruiting Agencies in Mississauga,” organizers said in an online event description. “With Career Fair Canada, 2024 can be the year you take your career to the next level, uncover a world of possibility and get your dream job.”

Those who attend can meet with hiring managers, network and apply on the spot with exhibitors in attendance. They’ll also have access to information about any training they might need to advance their career.
