If you’ve gone to this Brampton attraction, you know how awesome it is, and if not, it’s time to make a trip.

Treetop Trekking has won the award for “Top Outdoor Attraction” in Attractions Ontario’s Second Annual Ontario’s Choice Awards.

The massive, fun treetop adventure attraction at Heart Lake earned the most votes in Ontario’s outdoor attraction category, where it was up against such attractions as Canada’s largest waterpark Calypso, which is near Ottawa, the Toronto Zoo, Blue Mountain, and even other nature adventures such as Scenic Caves near Blue Mountain and Treetop Eco-Adventure Park in Durham Region. 

This is an incredible award where the winners of each category earned the most votes in their designated category, entirely voted on and chosen by consumers.

Treetop Trekking is also up for Attraction of the Year, because it was one of three attractions that got the most votes in any category. It’s up against Science North (Top Indoor Attraction) and Lang Pioneer Village (Top Small Museum/Art Gallery/Historic Site), and the winner will be announced in early November.

If you’ve never been Treetop Trekking, it’s a great workout, and basically an obstacle course complete with wobbly bridges and ziplines between trees. There are five levels, and each level gets longer and more strenuous. You are harnessed the entire time, and employees are always nearby looking out for your safety.

And you’ll definitely be sore afterwards!

Treetop Trekking locations span across Ontario in Barrie, Ganaraska, Huntsville, and Stouffville, and a few in Quebec. But Brampton’s is truly awesome. There’s even an option to take a 1,000 foot zipline across Heart Lake – how cool is that?

Brampton’s park also features six courses, seven zip lines and over 65 aerial games!
