A massive lottery jackpot was won Tuesday night in Canada.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) said that the $60 million Lotto Max jackpot was won by a ticket sold in Etobicoke.
Another ticket won $1 million on Encore. It was sold in Dufferin County, the OLG said.
The $60 million prize is the first Lotto Max jackpot win in Ontario this year.
The OLG noted that in 2024, there were a record-breaking 11 Lotto Max jackpots won in Ontario, totaling $525 million in jackpot prizing.
The next Lotto Max draw will be held on Friday and has an estimated $15 million jackpot.
