Huge $40 million lottery jackpot won in this city in Canada

A massive lottery jackpot has been won in Canada.

The winning ticket for the top prize in Friday’s Lotto Max draw was sold in Burnaby, B.C., according to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.

The ticket is now worth $40 million.

Other than the top prize, 53 tickets matched six out of seven numbers in Friday’s draw to take home $3,525.40 each, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation website indicates.

No one won in the Encore draw.
