House fire in Brampton leads to police diverting traffic

A major house fire in Brampton has led firefighters to advise motorists to avoid the area, and take alternate routes.
Brampton Fire and Emergency Services is battling a blaze in the Balmoral Drive and Torbram Road, and the Peel Regional Police are assisting with road closures.
The home was unoccupied at the time the fire began and there are no reports of physical injuries. Photos show intense flames and smoke billowing upward from the home.
