House fire breaks out in Mississauga neighbourhood

A fire broke out at a residence in Mississauga this afternoon and anyone in the area is asked to stay away from the scene.

Emergency crews responded to Artherly Cres near Montevideo Rd/Glen Erin Dr in Mississauga for a report of a fire on Sunday (Apr. 16).

First responders at the scene say the blaze was through the roof and determined it to be a two-alarm fire.

It is unknown how many occupants were inside the home at the time, but no injuries have been reported.

First responders are working on the roadways to put the blaze out and are asking the public to temporarily avoid the area.
