The hot and humid weather is expected to continue this weekend in southern Ontario.
The temperatures have soared to the high 20s or low 30s this week. The humidity has caused some storm activity, including a tornado in one part of the province.
This weekend will see mainly cloudy skies with a chance of rain.
Friday is expected to be clear with sunny skies. A high of around 27 C is forecast for Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton and Durham Region.
The low could dip down to 17 C overnight.
Saturday’s forecast is for mainly cloudy skies and a high of 31 C. The temperature could go down to 21 C in the evening.
On Sunday, a high of 31 C is expected again with partly cloudy skies and a 40 per cent chance of rain. A low of 19 C is forecast for the evening.
