‘Hot Grill Summer’ night market at Square One in Mississauga this weekend

While nighttime temperatures are dipping, it will still be sizzling around Square One mall in Mississauga during the Labour Day weekend.
Foods from diverse cultures will be featured during Hot Grill Summer, a four-day finale of a summer-long series of night market dining events held at the mall. The event, which offers a variety of delicious barbecue and grills by a variety of vendors, will take place in the area located at Square One’s P3 Parking Lot (at the corner of Duke of York Blvd. and Princess Royal Dr.).
The night market will be open from 3 p.m. till 12 midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Sept. 3-5), and 2 p.m.-12 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 6).

The night markets have been held at points throughout the summer in an effort to create a sense of community in a safe manner while COVID-19 restrictions remain in place. The event is compliant with Peel Health and Safety with regards to COVID-19 regulations.

Of the 14 vendors who contributed to a recent Caribbean Night Market, 12 offered either all-halal or halal options menu. Two offered vegan options and two others offered vegetarian options.
