Local residents looking to return to the court can sign up their team beginning Wednesday, July 21 for the Town’s new Oakville Recreational Basketball League (ORBL) and Oakville Recreational Volleyball League (ORVL).

Both leagues are scheduled to start the week of Sept. 27.

Men’s and women’s ORBL recreational leagues will run on Mondays, with advanced basketball on Wednesdays.

Teams will be required to have matching jerseys with different numbers. The ORBL will provide team jerseys for an extra fee of $19.78 (tax included) per person.

Men’s and women’s ORVL co-ed recreational and intermediate volleyball leagues will run on Tuesdays, with co-ed intermediate and advanced volleyball on Thursdays.

While a convener will be present, the ORVL games will be self-officiated.
