Anyone looking to get up close and personal with Honeymoon Suite’s vocalist Johnnie Dee and guitarist Derry Grehan will get the chance on Sept. 27 at Doc Magilligans Irish Pub (6400 Lundy’s Lane) September 27.
The two founding members will be playing an intimate live acoustic set of hits, including never-before-played songs from their 2008 album, Clifton Hill… Revisited.
While never a critical success, Clifton Hill… Revisited has long been a fan favourite and the event can truly be called intimate as only 100 fans will be allowed into the pub for the evening.
Tickets and special VIP packages will include a CD and LP of Clifton Hill… Revisited in deluxe packaging, a soundcheck party with Meet & Greet with the pair. For those with turntables, the album is a special edition of 150 and pressed on red/yellow swirl vinyl.
Guests include two openers, Chris Vander and Evan Rotella while the night is emceed by Shane Christopher Neal.
Originally recorded in a Hamilton church and produced by Tom Treumuth, the producer of the band’s very first album in 1984, Clifton Hill… Revisited has been remixed from the master tracks for enhanced sound at Iguana Studios in Toronto, where they also recorded two new acoustic versions of Ordinary and Sittin’ In The Garden.
Tickets are bound to go fast for Niagara Falls favourite singer and guitarist so get yours HERE.
