Homeopathic clinic workers charged in historical sex assaults in Brampton

Two workers at a homeopathic clinic in Brampton have been charged after police say a couple of patients were sexually assaulted on several occasions.
Peel Regional Police say the assaults happened between 2020 and 2021 at a homeopathic clinic on Orenda Court in Brampton. Investigators say two men who worked at the clinic sexually assaulted two female patients.
Police say both victims were assaulted “on multiple occasions.”
A 59-year-old man was arrested back on Sept. 23 and charged with multiple offences including gang sexual assault, while a 56-year-old was taken into custody on Oct. 22 and also charged.
Police say Gursharan Singh Sidhu, 59, and Inderpal Athwal, 56, have been arrested and charged with one count each of gang sexual assault. Sidhu has also been charged with sexual assault and attempt to commit an indictable offence, and Athwal has been charged with attempt gang sexual assault.
Investigators say there may be more victims and are encouraging anyone who believes they have been a victim, or anyone with information about these incidents, to contact police.
