Police are searching for a suspect after residents in Oshawa had their vehicle and home were damaged in a shooting.
The shots were fired around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday at a home in the area of Richmond Street East and Oshawa Boulevard North, Durham Regional Police say.
But the shooting wasn’t reported until Friday, when police say homeowners discovered their residence and vehicle had been damaged.
Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area between 11 p.m. to 12 p.m., or who may have surveillance or dash camera footage, to come forward.
