The wait for decadent, delicious milkshakes in south Mississauga is over — Holy Shakes has opened their second location in the city.

The gourmet milkshake shop, which promises over 100 varieties, open its second location in the Clarkson area over the July long weekend.

The shop is at 960 Southdown Rd., Unit C013 in the Clarkson Crossing plaza at Royal Windsor Dr.

The first Holy Shakes in Mississauga opened on Argentia Rd. in Meadowvale earlier this year.

Holy Shakes creates over-the-top milkshakes that are more dessert than drink. Each is topped with sweet treats such as waffles, cupcakes or even full pieces of cheesecake. The menu of creatively named sakes includes “Super FreakShakes” like “Kiss the Tiramisu” or “Murder With Red Velvet.”

Shakes come in retro glass milk bottles and FreakShakes are in glass jars. The jars and bottles are reusable and customers can bring them back for five per cent off their next shake.

The new Mississauga location also features food items from T.O.’s Kathi Roll Eatery,  a popular chain specializing in Indian fusion street food such as Punjabi style tacos, butter chick mac’ n’ cheese, tikkas on the rocks and cheesy pockets.
