Holiday fun and last-minute shopping at Square One in Mississauga

There are big holiday happenings to look out for at Mississauga’s Square One for the holidays, perfect for shoppers looking for some last-minute gift shopping and festivity.

The biggest mall in Ontario is getting even bigger and better with a new holiday market, live music from carollers, and photos with Santa, among other new events!

These holiday events are only on for a little while longer, so shoppers should stop by soon before they’re gone.

Here are all the things to check out at Square One for the holidays:

Last Chance for Photos with Santa at Gingerbread Lane

It’s not the holidays without Santa, and shoppers can meet the jolly old man himself at Mississauga’s newest Santa experience – Gingerbread Lane, located in Centre Court on Level 1. The whole family is invited to visit Santa, have their photos taken and make precious holiday memories. To avoid long line-ups, families are encouraged to book their photos online in advance. The photos can be available to download digitally and to print, depending on the package chosen. Santa is at Square One until December 24th. To book your photos, click here.

Square One’s Holiday Market

Feel the joy of the holiday season by visiting the annual Holiday Market and picking up something nice for yourself or finding the perfect gifts for the people on your shopping list. The market is hosted by Run the World Summit with a focus on providing products from some of the best female-owned businesses in the GTA.

On now until Dec. 24, shoppers can browse from a wide variety of foods, beauty products, and home accessories from pop-ups including Aura Fragrances, Patchi Chocolate, Elevate Candles, Honey Lux and more. The market is available on Level 2 across from H&M.

Live music and carolling

Holiday shopping can be hectic, so take a moment to sit back and enjoy live holiday tunes. Shoppers can catch the famous Toronto String Quartet performing in the Grand Rotunda in front of Holt Renfrew, as well as the Carol Brunettes performing in The Food District. Both quartets are ready to entertain and delight shoppers with their live carolling and renditions of classic holiday songs for everyone to enjoy.

Gift wrapping for a good cause

Once you’ve picked up your gifts, have them wrapped in gorgeous wrapping paper at the brand new Square One Vision Centre, located across from Holt Renfrew. All proceeds from the gift wrapping are in support of Epilepsy South Central Ontario, a local non-profit charity organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with epilepsy.

Extended holiday hours

Whether you just love being at Square One or you need some extra time to get your gift shopping done, take advantage of the shopping centre’s extended holiday hours.
