During this time, residents will not be able to apply in person for marriage licences, pay parking fines or apply for permits.

Throughout the holidays, Brampton transit will be operating on a holiday schedule so make sure to plan ahead if you intend on travelling.

Reminder: Brampton transit will be providing FREE New Year’s Eve service on all routes beginning at 7:00 p.m. on December 31, 2019.

It is is also important to remember that there will be no garbage exemption during the holiday season.

All Brampton library branches (Chinguacousy Branch, Cyril Clark Branch, Four Corners Branch, Gore Meadows Branch, Mount Pleasant Village Branch, South Fletcher’s Branch and Springdale Branch) will also be closed throughout the holidays.

Outdoor skating rinks will be open but are weather dependent, so the city advises attendees to confirm whether they are open before visiting.
