Hold and secure, lockdown lifted for Bishop Francis, Brampton Centennial

The hold and secure and lockdown for Bishop Francis Catholic Elementary School and Brampton Centennial Secondary School have both ended.

Around 12 p.m. on Thursday (December 9), police responded to reports of a woman seen with a gun in the area of Elgin Drive McMurchy Avenue, which caused the hold and secure and lockdown.

After an investigation, police two girls and a boy who were found with a fake gun near Brampton Centennial have been taken into custody.

While the three youths have been taken into custody, the investigation is still on-going.
