Victoria Public School was placed in a hold-and-secure by the Niagara Police while they investigated a nearby crime. However, in the end, it was over in less than 25 minutes.
A Niagara Falls Public School was placed in a hold and secure this afternoon (Sept. 11) but fortunately for the students and staff, it didn’t last long.
Due to the fact they were investigating a nearby crime, the police called the stay-put into Victoria Public School (5635 Heritage Dr.) at 2:24 p.m.
However, when they caught the suspect, another call came to the school at 2:48 p.m., saying the order was lifted.
Police added, “Dismissal of students will resume as normal.”
