Hit-and-run crash snarls traffic on Hurontario Street in Brampton

Police are investigating after a hit-and-run crash in Brampton this morning (June 6).
The crash happened around 10:45 a.m. in the area of Hurontario St. and County Court Blvd. in Brampton, according to Peel Regional Police.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision, and while no injuries were reported police say one of the drivers took off after the crash.
The driver is described as a South Asian male standing approximately 6-feet tall and had a beard, police say.
The crash is expected to slow traffic in the area while police are on scene and drivers are being asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes if possible.
