Hit-and-run crash near Burlington GO Station leaves one man with serious injuries

3 dead in overnight crash in Milton, Ontario

A man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash near the Burlington GO Station.

The 35-year-old man was crossing Fairview Street in the vicinity of the station when he was hit by a vehicle around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday night (March 24), Halton Regional Police said in a press release.

The man sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital, police said.

The vehicle that struck him did not remain on the scene, police added.

The investigation is currently ongoing. Police have not released any vehicle information.

Anyone with information about this incident who has not yet spoken with police is asked to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext: 5065.

Police would also like to speak with anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage.
