The flow of Monday rush hour traffic in Stoney Creek was slowed by a collision.

(Update: the lanes reopened shortly before 6 p.m., after delays of about one hour.)

Real-time tracking shows that the two leftmost lanes and the shoulder of the Fort Erie-bound side of Queen Elizabeth Highway are blocked near the Red Hill Creek. Surveillance footage shows that paramedics are at the crash scene.

It is not known how long it would take to reopen all lanes. Generally, the lanes reopen faster when they are only declared blocked rather than completely closed.
