The westbound lanes of Highway 407 in Brampton were expected to be closed for several hours on Tuesday night (Aug. 24), following a collision between a motorcyclist and the driver of a van.
The Ontario Provincial Police were conducting a collision investigation after a crash where two occupants of a motorcyle received serious injuries. The collision required a response from the Brampton fire department and Peel Parademics. The westbound lanes of toll highway were closed between Hurontario Street and Mavis Road. The OPP did not estimate when the lanes might reopen.
