Highway in Brampton closed for police investigation

A police investigation has led to part of Highway 407 being shut down in Brampton.

Shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, the Ontario Provincial Police conveyed that all eastbouund 407 lanes are closed at Goreway Drive for the investigation. Both on-ramps from Airport Road to the eastbound 407 are also closed.

As of 8:35 p.m., the two leftmost lanes had reopened. The rightmost three lanes were closed.

The 407 is a tolled highway that runs between Burlington and Clarington.
