Highway closure in Mississauga after major collision

A collision and highway closure is causing traffic delays in Mississauga today (Nov. 5).

Hwy. 403 westbound, west of Mavis Road, has been reduced to one lane as OPP investigate a crash in the area.

Injuries are unknown at this time.

“Lanes may be closed for several hours,” said OPP.

Drivers should consider taking alternate routes if possible.

All westbound lanes have reopened as of 12:44 p.m., and no serious injuries were reported.
