Highway closure in Burlington slated for Saturday, Sunday

A stretch of the Queen Elizabeth Way highway in Burlington will be closed for repair work this weekend.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation says that the Fort Erie-bound side of the QEW will be closed from from Northshore Boulevard and Eastport Drive. The closure will start at 11 p.m. on Friday (Aug. 6). The reopening is scheduled for 5 a.m. on Monday morning (Aug. 9).
